Veteran's Day Parade & Flag Retirement

Who: Staff, Students and Veterans - our local VFW was contacted and they will be attending! Any family veterans are also welcome to join us.
What: A parade to honor our Veterans and a flag retiring ceremony put on by VFW. They have graciously donated a new flag to Oakwood and will be retiring ours.
When: November 11th from 9:30-10:00 Students and staff should line up around the sidewalk at 9:30. Our Veterans will parade in the bus loop. We will clap to honor and thank them.
Wear Red, White, and Blue to celebrate!
